It took less than two minutes for a capacity Wembley Stadium to reach full-blown hysteria when Luke Shaw opened Sunday's Euro 2020 final against Italy with a goal that capped a sharp England counterattack.
Shaw's strike is the fastest goal in a European Championship final and marks the first time Italy has conceded the opener in a match since September 2020, a run of 18 matches.
