Manchester City honours Sergio Aguero with No. 10 kit
Manchester City's goal machine, Sergio Aguero, has been handed the distinction of wearing the No. 10 kit, the club announced Friday.
The jersey number is typically reserved for a club's first-choice striker, and with the departure of Edin Dzeko to Roma during this summer's transfer window, that honour is now Mr. Aguero's.
Dzeko and Aguero both joined City in 2011, but the towering Bosnian was handed the No. 10 kit as his arrival preceded Aguero's.

"When I arrived at City, Edin had it - he wore it very well, and of course, I respected it," Ageuro told the club's official website.
"That's why I picked the No. 16. I must admit, I have warmed to it over the past few years and shared many special moments in it but the No.10 shirt is very special for me. I always felt a connection to it, and even more so now."
In a noble move, City is allowing supporters to send in their Aguero kits emblazoned with the No. 16 to either be signed by the star striker or to be substituted for a new, unsigned No. 10 kit.
