Everton's Tom Cleverley stretchered off vs. Tottenham with apparent leg injury

Everton midfielder Tom Cleverley suffered what appeared to be a serious leg injury on a tackle from Tottenham's Eric Dier on the edge of the box in Saturday's match at White Hart Lane.

A forceful, yet legal tackle from Dier caught the Everton midfielder, and as the two collapsed to the pitch in a heap, Cleverley's right leg bent aggressively under the weight of the lumbering Tottenham midfielder.
Cleverley, who immediately signaled to the bench to be substituted, was replaced by Kevin Mirallas.
