VIDEO: Wayne Rooney slaps WWE star at Monday Night Raw
No stranger to the consequences of taking one in the face, Manchester United attacker Wayne Rooney was in on the joke during Monday Night Raw in Manchester.
British wrestler and Preston North End supporter Wade Barrett addressed the oft-criticized Red Devil during a match, making light of the English international's mercurial season with Louis van Gaal's squad.

Barrett's comments were met with a mixture of praise and derision from those in attendance, presumably with Manchester City's fans reveling in the humour of their rival's plight.
Following his comments, Barrett exited the ring to confront Rooney, who was seated in the first row, and the Liverpool-born attacker slapped the towering wrestler in the face - marking one of the few occasions Rooney's hit the target this year.
