David Beckham encourages Cristiano Ronaldo's Manchester United return
Who better to advise a world-class player who has plied his trade at both Manchester United and Real Madrid than a former legend who also enjoyed spells with both clubs?
As speculation surfaces that Cristiano Ronaldo's tenure at Real is experiencing some obstacles, former Red Devil David Beckham has come forward to suggest that the 30-year-old Portuguese international consider United as a next stop.

"I'd never advise anyone not to come back to United," Beckham told The Guardian.
"I’d have crawled back if I could. But then obviously given the chance once I’d left United, to have played for one of the biggest clubs in the world - with Real Madrid, again it was a dream. But I’d never advise any player to not return to Manchester United."
Ronaldo, who joined United in 2003 from Portuguese giant Sporting Lisbon, won three consecutive Premier League titles, an FA Cup, two league cups, and the Champions League in 2007-08 as he transitioned from a young talent rife with potential to one of the world's greatest footballers.
"Cristiano is such a fan favourite at United, he was so successful, such a hard worker. Everyone you talk to, that has played with him, been around his world - he's not just one of the most talented players in the game, he's a hard worker as well.
"If he decides to leave Real Madrid then for me personally it's back to United. I never had the opportunity to do so - but I'm proud of the teams I played for after United."
Though legendary gaffer Sir Alex Ferguson is long gone, the man he called one of only four world-class players he's ever managed would be wise to enjoy his twilight at the Theatre of Dreams, according to Beckham. And if anybody would know, it's him.
