Looking to stave off a potentially crippling relegation, Sunderland has bolstered its attack by signing Senegalese international striker Dame N'Doye on a season-long loan from Turkish side Trabzonspor.
The Wearsiders aren't N'Doye's first foray in the Premier League, as the 30-year-old forward joined Hull City in 2015 during the January window, where he scored five times in 15 league appearances for the Tigers.
"Having already played in the Premier League he should have no problems in hitting the ground running too, which is very important at this stage of the season," Black Cats boss Sam Allardyce told reporters.
"Dame will bring something different to our forward options."
N'Doye won't be available for Sunderland's weekend fixture with Tottenham as pending paperwork is completed.
