Struggling for first-team minutes behind star right-back Hector Bellerin, French international Mathieu Debuchy has joined Bordeaux on loan from Arsenal until the end of the season.
Debuchy has made two league appearances for the Gunners this campaign after losing his spot to Bellerin last season following long-term ankle and shoulder injuries.

The 30-year-old full-back has enjoyed a mercurial spell with Arsenal since joining from Newcastle in 2014 for a reported fee of £12 million, and his move was prompted by his exclusion from the team sheets for the last few matches, with Calum Chambers playing in Bellerin's stead on the weekend against Burnley.
