Report: Harry Kane becomes latest to sport mask for a broken nose

Tottenham's star striker Harry Kane has become the latest Premier League player to opt for a mask in light of an elbow the forward caught during a 1-0 FA Cup defeat to Crystal Palace.

A post-match scan confirmed that the 22-year-old England international suffered a broken nose during the fifth-round match, putting his fitness for Thursday's Europa League match into question, according to The Telegraph's Matt Law.

Broken nose or not, it's uncertain if Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino would opt for Kane in the second leg of an aggregate tie with Fiorentina. The Argentine gaffer gave his 16-goal man the day off last week, starting summer signing Heung-Min Son up top in his stead in a 1-1 draw at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

Kane's not expected to miss any league matches. Spurs host Swansea City this weekend followed by a trip to West Ham and a visit from Arsenal within a seven-day span that could dictate how serious the club's title ambitions are.
