Klopp once backtracked on transfer over goal celebration
Current Liverpool and former Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp once put the stops on a move because he didn't fancy the way the transfer target celebrated a goal.
At least that's what Dortmund's marketing director, Carsten Cramer, said about the former industrious Die Borussen gaffer.
"There is a story Jurgen told me about a striker he was interested in," Cramer told the Mirror. "He watched him in several videos and said, 'This is a striker I want to sign.'
"Then he saw him playing and he scored a goal. He was watching how he was celebrating his goal and said: 'This is not a guy for Dortmund. He is celebrating for himself and not the club."

Protected by a veil of anonymity, based on the frequency of abhorrent goal celebrations in football, it would be nearly impossible to determine the culprit.

Nevertheless, there's a certain irony in Klopp finding fault in a celebration when he is by far the Premier League's most impassioned and ebullient manager, with the decision to celebrate in front of the Kop after a home draw against West Brom in mid-December - a glaring example of his enthusiasm.
"All the players know the club is the most important thing. I'm very sure that the brand philosophy was important when we hired someone like Jurgen Klopp."
