Liverpool midfielder James Milner faces a race for fitness for Thursday's massive Europa League tilt with Manchester United.
Reds gaffer Jurgen Klopp will determine Milner's status Thursday, according to James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo.
Milner, 30, missed training Wednesday with a virus after the club's medical staff at the Melwood training grounds deemed him too ill to train a day ahead of the continental clash between the two storied sides.
The Leeds United academy product has been a source of consistency for Klopp this season, starting 23 Premier League matches paired with six Europa League appearances. Capped 57 times for England, Milner has scored seven times with seven assists in all competitions this season.
