Leicester City signs Sultan of Brunei's nephew
Premier League table toppers Leicester City has signed the nephew of the Sultan of Brunei, Faiq Jefri Bolkiah.
Ordinarily, an obscure 17-year-old signing with a top flight wouldn't make headlines, though Bolkiah, who joined Chelsea in 2014, makes the grade as the nephew of one of the world's richest men.
The teenager announced the signing on Instagram, saying "Happy to announce I have signed a long term professional contract at @lcfc. Would like to thank all my family and close friends for all the support. Was also a pleasure meeting the owner himself. Can’t wait to get started."
Bolkiah has been a regular for Chelsea's under-18 side this season after spells with both Arsenal and Reading, and joins the Foxes on a three-year contract, slated to complete the move in the summer.
