Report: Chelsea slap £100M price tag on Real Madrid target Hazard
If Eden Hazard fancies a much-speculated switch to Real Madrid, it will cost the Spanish giants no less than £100 million.
Chelsea will require upwards of the nine-digit fee should the Belgian star follow through on a "dream move" to the Santiago Bernabeu, according to The Telegraph's Matt Law.
Reports surfaced last week suggesting Madrid would splash that amount for Tottenham's Christian Eriksen should Hazard not be available.
With slightly over a year remaining on his current deal at Stamford Bridge, Hazard's repeated flirtations with Madrid - paired with a delay in agreeing to new terms in the English capital - have created uncertainty at Chelsea. Frustrations at the club continue to grow, much like last season with Thibaut Courtois' wait and eventual move, prompting manager Maurizio Sarri to admit last month that "it's time to decide" for Hazard.
Law adds that Hazard is awaiting a concrete approach from Madrid, who may try to lower the desired fee by offloading current Blues loanee Mateo Kovacic for a permanent stay at Chelsea.
