Spain is set for the FIBA World Cup.
Head coach Sergio Scariolo made his last round of cuts Wednesday, with few surprises on the 12-man roster that's heading to China. Spain will be led by NBA veterans Marc Gasol and Ricky Rubio, along with guard Sergio Llull - widely considered the best player not currently in the Association.
Also in the NBA are the Hernangomez brothers - Juancho and Willy - while former NBAers Rudy Fernandez and Victor Claver are on the squad as well.
Meanwhile, longtime Spain stalwart Jose Calderon retired from national team duty after the 2016 Olympics.
Spain will begin its World Cup campaign on Aug. 31 against Tunisia.
