Houston Rockets star Jalen Green is among the young players that will join Team USA in August for its FIBA World Cup training camp, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania and Joe Vardon.

Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham, Sacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray, and Oklahoma City Thunder duo Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams are reportedly joining Green on the U.S. Select Team.

Payton Pritchard of the Boston Celtics is also part of the group, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. New Orleans Pelicans sharpshooter Trey Murphy and Minnesota Timberwolves big man Naz Reid are joining the Celtics guard, adds Wojnarowski.

New York Knicks guard Quentin Grimes will participate as well, Charania reports.

Orlando Magic bench boss Jamahl Mosley will reportedly coach the reserve American squad. The Select Team roster will practice against the U.S. World Cup team ahead of the showpiece tournament being cohosted by the Philippines, Japan, and Indonesia.

Any member of the U.S. Select Team can travel with Team USA to the World Cup and suit up if anyone from the main roster is injured prior to the tournament.

The U.S. national team begins training camp in Las Vegas on Aug. 3 and features the likes of Anthony Edwards and Tyrese Haliburton. The Americans will take on Puerto Rico, Greece, and Germany in a series of exhibition contests leading up to the World Cup.

Spain denied the Stars and Stripes a three-peat at the previous edition four years ago.
