The F1 records Hamilton could break with Ferrari
Lewis Hamilton's journey at Ferrari has only just begun, yet it's all much of the paddock can talk about as the 2025 season nears. If the seven-time champion has evoked this much passion from the tifosi before competing in a single race with Ferrari, how will they react if Hamilton checks off any milestones while wearing red?
Here are some of the significant milestones Hamilton could reach with Ferrari.
Most drivers' championships

Hamilton comes to the Scuderia tied with Ferrari legend Michael Schumacher for the most drivers' titles in Formula 1 history. It would be extremely poetic if the seven-time champion captures his record-breaking eighth title while driving for the most historic constructor and the same team Schumacher immortalized his legacy with.
Most wins at Monza
No one has won Ferrari's home race more than Hamilton, though one driver has equaled him: Schumacher, who is once again deadlocked with Hamilton in the record books. In a spectacular scene, the passionate Italian crowd took over Monza when Charles Leclerc won last year. A Hamilton victory in front of the tifosi might be an even more unforgettable sight.
Most wins on home soil

Red fever will spread to Silverstone as the tifosi come to Hamilton's stomping grounds this summer. While he already holds the record for most wins at a driver's home grand prix, he could take hold of most total home race victories sometime soon. Hamilton has won on British soil nine times and Schumacher won on German soil nine times (four of his wins came at the German Grand Prix and the other five at the Nurburgring under the title of the European Grand Prix).
First 40-year-old to win race this century
Few drivers have won after turning 40. Hamilton, who turned 40 on Jan. 7, has a chance to be the first driver aged 40 or older to claim victory since Nigel Mansell did it at the 1994 Australian Grand Prix. The drivers share other similiarities: Mansell, who's often spoken fondly of Hamilton, is one of the few other British drivers to drive for Ferrari, even winning his first race with the Italian outfit in 1989. Perhaps that's a good omen for Hamilton's future.
Joining Juan Manuel Fangio

Ten drivers have won drivers' titles with multiple constructors. But only one pilot has done it with three or more teams: Juan Manuel Fangio. The Argentine F1 legend took home championships with Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Ferrari, and Mercedes. Hamilton probably doesn't have enough time left to hit four, but if he wins a title with Ferrari, he will join Fangio as the only driver to do it for at least three constructors.
Double-digit wins with 3 constructors
A number of drivers have won races with three different constructors, including Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel, and Niki Lauda. Hamilton will likely hit that mark too. But more impressively, if he finds his form and Ferrari provides the right machinery, Hamilton could become the first driver to win 10-plus races with three different constructors. He might not get there in 2025, but perhaps he'll make it in 2026 if Ferrari also nails the new engine regulations.
