Monaco would reject €100M bid for Mbappe
Monaco vice president Vadim Vasilyev has sent a warning to clubs interested in luring teenage talent Kylian Mbappe away from the Stade Louis II.
Asked Thursday what would happen if a club the magnitude of Manchester United or Chelsea were to table a €100-million bid for Mbappe, Vasilyev responded, "He doesn't have a price."
Vasilyev said Monaco's plans for Mbappe were simple: "That he stays at least one more season with us, that he continues his stunning progression, and that he helps us get even bigger."
Leonardo Jardim's club boasts a young core that has attracted scouts from Europe's biggest outfits, meaning Vasilyev and Co. must decide whether to keep the squad intact or profit from opulent sales and continue with the youth movement.

"It is part of our model that some players leave but now we are financially much stronger than two years ago," Vasilyev told CNN Sports' Amanda Davies. "With all these young players, we know that their value will never go down because they are so talented and ambitious."
The 18-year-old La Turbie academy grad Mbappe ticks both boxes, and Vasilyev said the prodigious youngster is happy on the principality.
"I think he's very happy at Monaco," Vasilyev added. "There's the World Cup next year - and he's already in the French national team."
With 26 goals in all competitions for Mbappe in his breakthrough campaign, the sky appears to be the limit for the gazelle-like runner, prompting Vasilyev to refute speculation linking the attacker with a move away from the club.
Prodded again if an exorbitant offer could pry Mbappe from Les Monegasques' title-winning side, Vasilyev bluntly responded, "No. We found the right sporting and financial model for our club; it will be easier for us to keep our best players."
