Marseille summer signing Valere Germain scored his first competitive goal for the club in the second minute of Thursday's Europa League qualifier against Belgian Oostende, and it comes 8187 days after his father, Bruno, registered his final tally with the Cote d'Azur dweller.
That's about 22 years and three months since his once-capped defensive mid dad last scored for Olympique in his second spell with the club in 1995.
