Well-coiffed David Luiz has obscure cure for baldness
Despite owning one of football's thickest heads of hair, Paris Saint-Germain centre-back David Luiz admits he is haunted by the prospect of male-pattern baldness.
The generously maned Brazilian international opened up to French site Journal du Dimanche about his fears, and about a doctor in his homeland who has pioneered a curious cure for hair loss.
"I know I look crazy but I am not! It is just hair … Yes, my father is bald. But I found a way to save my hair.
"I met with a doctor in Brazil, who has developed a special treatment. It takes some cells from here (your hip) and then relocates them."
Like Ligue 1 leaders PSG, Luiz appears to be comfortable up top, though there's no harm in getting ahead of an ailment that has stricken so many before the ringlet-rich defender.
"I will do it. In ten years it will be the solution for people who have lost their hair. You should try it!"
