Lewandowski's agent denies Paris Saint-Germain interest

Amid speculation that Bayern Munich star striker Robert Lewandowski is coveted by three-time defending Ligue 1 champs Paris Saint-Germain, the Polish goal-machine's agent has refuted claims linking him with a potential move to the French capital.

"It's very flattering to see PSG officials talk about me but I'm concentrated on my work here at Bayern," Lewandowski told Telefoot last week.

After Lewandowski, 27, admitted he was flattered by rumours concerning PSG's £70-million interest, the in-form striker's agent, Cezary Kucharski, has countered, saying his client is "very happy" at the Bavarian giants.

"In football, you can never know what's going to happen," Kucharski told L'Equipe.

Hardly the kind of words that would squelch a rumour, Lewandowski's agent continued, implying that his client values being part of Europe's first-tier continental competition, something both Bayern and PSG qualify for annually with ease.

"The most important thing is that he plays in the Champions League," Kucharski said.

The 73-time-capped Polish international has been nothing short of a world-beater this season for Pep Guardiola's men, scoring 15 times in 16 games, paired with seven goals in the Champions League.
