Ruben Neves handed first Portuguese cap in lieu of Joao Moutinho injury
FC Porto's midfield wunderkind Ruben Neves has been named to the Portuguese senior team for the international break, according to a statement on the football federation's official website.
He will take the place previously occupied by Monaco's Joao Moutinho, who will miss out with an undisclosed injury.

Neves' first opportunity to wear the same kit he donned ten times for the Portuguese Under-21 side will be Saturday's trip to Russia for a friendly match, with Tuesday's visit to Luxembourg providing a second chance for gaffer Fernando Santos to opt for the young midfielder.
It's been a breakthrough season for the 18-year-old playmaker littered with firsts, as his senior side call-up was preceded by his first appearance for Porto wearing the captain's armband, becoming the youngest player ever to do so in Champions League play.
