Watch: Sansone scores from half-way line to lift Villarreal to victory

Nicola Sansone was obviously feeling confident after giving Villarreal a 1-0 lead over Real Sociedad on Sunday.

So much so, that the 25-year-old had a go from just inside the half-way line.

And it worked.

After receiving a pass in his own half, Sansone noticed 'keeper Geronimo Rulli was well off his line before unleashing a perfect 50-yard strike, which turned out to be the winner as Villarreal came away with a 2-1 victory.
