Shkodran Mustafi perturbed by product placement at presser

A club-mandated policy has drawn the ire of Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi, as the practising Muslim took umbrage with a promotional beer bottle at a press conference Friday.

The World Cup-winning German international asked the club's press officer to remove the beer from the table prior to his press conference, consistent with his faith's position against the promotion and consumption of alcohol.

Mustafi eventually concedes with the press officer's insistence, despite being visibly agitated by the presence of the bottle.
