VIDEO: Neymar scores a quartet to outclass Rayo Vallecano
An early Rayo Vallecano goal from Javi Guerra was cancelled out seven minutes later when Neymar scored his first of four goals on the day, to lead Barcelona to a one-sided 5-2 victory over Madrid's other club.
It was a tough day for Vallecano's defenders, and an even worse one for their 'keeper Tono, as a close-cropped Neymar simply had his way on Saturday at Nou Camp.

In Lionel Messi's absence, there were some concerns that Luis Suarez and Neymar would miss a beat, but the flashy Brazilian international was quick to quiet critics with two penalties 10 minutes apart.
The first penalty was put to Tono's right, as Neymar calmly slotted it past the 35-year-old Spanish 'keeper.
The second one was the opposite, as Neymar switched sides. Once again, a befuddled Tono guessed wrong.
Tono's nightmarish match continued as a brilliant lunging save on a Suarez shot landed in Neymar's path, allowing him to rocket home number three with a finish the 'keeper knew nothing about.
To cap off his career day, Neymar scored a fourth goal courtesy of an incisive pass from Suarez.
Barcelona's fifth came off the foot of Suarez. A deft curling pass from Neymar on the edge of the box found the Uruguayan shadowing his defender's shoulder, before he stabbed it past Tono.
