Augsburg confirms Alfred Finnbogason loan move from Real Sociedad
Bundesliga minnow Augsburg has signed Icelandic international forward Alfred Finnbogason from Real Sociedad on loan until the end of the season.
Finnbogason, who joined Sociedad in 2014 from Heerenveen, spent the first half of 2015-16 on loan with Greek giants Olympiacos where he scored a vital goal in the side's away upset of Arsenal.
"We have followed Alfred Finnbogason's progress closely in recent years, and are pleased that he has joined us," FCA sporting director Stefan Reuter told the club's website.
"He has many qualities, and will improve our squad."
