Romo breaks awkward silence, welcomes Smith to Giants' bullpen

It took a little while, but Will Smith eventually received a very warm welcome from a new bullpen mate Tuesday.

Sitting in the San Francisco Giants bullpen for the first time since being acquired from the Milwaukee Brewers on a deadline-day trade Monday, Smith was finally given a gracious welcome from bullpen greeter Sergio Romo after sitting in an awkward silence for a few minutes Tuesday.

That should help make the tough transition a little easier.
