On Thursday, the world unfortunately lost a comedic genius in Don Rickles, who died from kidney failure at the age of 90.

The legendary insult comic, who was known for his outstanding nightclub performances in Las Vegas, frequent hangouts with the Rat Pack, and as the voice of Mr. Potato Head in the "Toy Story" films, was a huge fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and once took a pitcher out of the game in place of the team's former manager Tommy Lasorda.

Rickles' entire exchange during the event, which contained a hilarious cameo from former umpire Harry Wendelstedt, was documented in an interview with Jon Weisman of Variety in 2008, as well as on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" in 2015.
