Surprisingly, a player not named Shohei Ohtani or Mike Trout did something incredible for the Los Angeles Angels.

In Monday's game, catcher Martin Maldonado - who was initially called out - made one of the best home-plate dives the league will see this season, somehow managing to avoid a tag from Texas Rangers backstop Robinson Chirinos.

Maldonado initially reached base with an RBI single and tried to score from first following a double off the bat of Chris Young. He appeared to be toast, but thanks to his dipping and dodging, scored the Angels' fourth run of the game.
