The Seattle Mariners have acquired right-hander Matt Magill from the Minnesota Twins for cash considerations, the team announced on Sunday.
The Twins designated the 29-year-old for assignment on Thursday.
Magill has logged 28 1/3 innings this season with a 4.32 FIP. However, in 2018 he posted a 3.81 ERA in 40 games while coming out of Minnesota's bullpen.
Entering Sunday's action, the Mariners own the fourth-worst bullpen ERA (5.24) in the majors.
