Add Cleveland Indians manager Terry Francona to the list of people who aren't a fan of the Players' Weekend uniforms this season.
"What's the slogan, 'Let the kids play?' Let the grown-ups look like morons," Francona said Friday, according to Zack Meisel of The Athletic.
The Indians' skipper also joked that he wouldn't make any pitching changes ahead of the club's series against the Kansas City Royals because he didn't want to be seen in public, according to Meisel.
Despite the heavy criticism directed at the uniforms, the customized cleats are drawing rave reviews thanks to plenty of pop culture references, touching tributes, and vibrant colors.
