Bauer teases Mets, Dodgers fans with hat giveaways on website
Trevor Bauer sent Twitter into a frenzy on Friday when his website released merchandise linking the free-agent ace to the New York Mets and Los Angeles Dodgers before ultimately deciding to head back home to L.A.
Fans first spotted a Mets hat signed by the reigning NL Cy Young winner:

Other potential clues started filtering in after that, including Mets-themed shirts, a cryptic message, and a tab on his site which included a popular hashtag associated with the New York club. The latter was eventually removed and altered to say "LFG" instead of "LFGM."

Trevor Bauer momentarily had a link up on his website for what appears to be new Mets merchandise. He deleted it. (h/t @Ghostless for pointing this out.) pic.twitter.com/AlAOJZ3iXR

However, Bauer appeared to throw a curveball at Mets fans when his site also released a signed Dodgers hat.
