The Los Angeles Dodgers are signing veteran reliever Shane Greene to a major-league contract, according to Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic.

The Atlanta Braves released Greene on the weekend after he posted an 8.47 ERA over 19 appearances this season.

The 32-year-old became an All-Star in 2019. He accrued a 2.30 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, and 23 saves across a combined 62 2/3 innings between the Braves and Detroit Tigers.

Los Angeles' bullpen has amassed the highest fWAR in the National League in 2021.
