Left-hander David Price is joining the Los Angeles Dodgers' 26-man roster for the remainder of their National League Championship Series against the Atlanta Braves, manager Dave Roberts announced Friday, according to J.P. Hoornstra of the Southern California News Group.
Price replaces reliever Joe Kelly, who left Thursday's game with a biceps injury.
The 36-year-old Price posted a 4.03 ERA over 73 2/3 innings in a swing role with the Dodgers in 2021.
The injuries are piling up for Los Angeles after losing Justin Turner to a hamstring injury in Game 4 on Wednesday. The team is also missing Max Muncy and Clayton Kershaw.
