Braves add Davidson to replace Morton on World Series roster

The Atlanta Braves have added left-hander Tucker Davidson to their World Series roster to replace right-hander Charlie Morton, MLB announced Wednesday.

Morton broke his right fibula Tuesday during Game 1 against the Houston Astros after taking a comebacker off the bat of Yuli Gurriel in the second inning.

The two-time All-Star recorded three outs on 16 pitches - including two strikeouts - after breaking his leg.

Davidson, a 25-year-old rookie, authored a 3.60 ERA with 18 strikeouts over 20 innings (four starts) this season for the Braves.
