Free-agent outfielder Chris Taylor will decline a one-year, $18.4-million qualifying offer from the Los Angeles Dodgers, sources told MLB Network's Jon Heyman.

Taylor is now tied to draft-pick compensation in free agency.

The 31-year-old joins Carlos Correa, Michael Conforto, Nick Castellanos, Corey Seager, and Marcus Semien as players who have declined the qualifying offer this offseason. Eduardo Rodriguez also rejected the one-year pact and reportedly agreed to a multi-year deal with the Detroit Tigers.

Taylor hit 20 home runs with 73 RBIs and a .782 OPS over 148 games for the Dodgers last campaign and was named an All-Star for the first time in his eight-year career. He came up with some memorable hits in the 2021 postseason, including a three-homer contest in the NLCS.
