The White Sox said Jimenez is dealing with right hamstring soreness and will need more testing.
Manager Tony La Russa acknowledged that Jimenez's injury is significant but unlikely to be season-ending, according to Scott Merkin of MLB.com.
Jimenez entered Saturday's action with one homer and a .606 OPS this season. He only played in 55 contests in 2021 because of a significant pectoral injury.
