Rays' Margot to miss significant time with knee injury after hitting wall
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Manuel Margot left the field on a medical cart after injuring himself trying to make a catch at the wall during the ninth inning against the New York Yankees on Monday.

Rays manager Kevin Cash said postgame that Margot will miss significant time, according to Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times. The skipper added the team is currently calling the injury a right knee sprain that "doesn't look good."

Margot, 27, entered the game slashing .303/.367/.427 with three homers and 11 doubles over 50 contests this season.
Cash also announced outfielder Kevin Kiermaier will be landing on the injured list. He left the game early due to left hip inflammation, according to Topkin.
