The market for Xander Bogaerts is heating up.

The Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Los Angeles Dodgers are interested in signing the star shortstop, according to Jeff Passan of ESPN.

Boston Red Sox president and CEO Sam Kennedy also said Wednesday that his club is still keen on re-signing Bogaerts.

"We remain engaged with his representatives," Kennedy said, according to MassLive's Chris Cotillo. "Scott (Boras) is a busy man. So we're in touch and conversations continue."

Kennedy also refuted rumors that the four-time All-Star closed the book on a potential return to Boston.

"I don't have that impression, but all we can go by is our desire to bring him back," Kennedy said. "There's going to be a lot of clubs interested in Xander Bogaerts, and we understand that. But we've kept the lines of communication open all throughout last season, into the offseason, and into his free agency."

The Minnesota Twins and San Diego Padres have also been linked to Bogaerts this offseason.

The 30-year-old slashed .307/.377/.456 with 15 homers and 73 RBIs over 150 games in 2022 en route to winning his fifth Silver Slugger.
