This past season featured plenty of amazing snags, defensive gems, historic home runs, and baserunning highlights. Let's count down the 10 best plays from 2022.

10. Kwan flies into stands vs. Mariners

Guardians outfielder Steven Kwan's fearless play turned a lot of heads during his rookie campaign, including incredible catches like this.

9. Cron wallops 504-foot HR at Coors

Rockies slugger C.J. Cron crushed the longest dinger of the season with a towering shot against the Diamondbacks in early September.

8. Springer saves Blue Jays in 9th inning

George Springer's flare for the dramatic helped his team edge out a victory against the eventual World Series champions.

7. Miggy's 3,000th hit

Miguel Cabrera became just the 33rd player to reach the hallowed mark, making him a lock for Cooperstown.

6. Nimmo robs Justin Turner of HR

Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo timed his jump perfectly to steal a late game-tying blast from the Dodgers.

This would've been the catch of the year if it wasn't for Jonathan Davis' insane effort.

5. Brewers' Davis goes all out vs. Rays

Davis has made a few of these miraculous catches during his career, and this one might be his best. The outfielder also smashes his head into the wall and injures his back to make the play even more dramatic.

4. Pujols gets No. 700

Albert Pujols joined Barry Bonds, Hank Aaron, and Babe Ruth as the only members of the 700 club. The Cardinals legend finished his career with 703 round-trippers after going deep 24 times in his age-42 season.

3. Harper sends Citizens Bank Park into frenzy

Bryce Harper capped off his NLCS MVP performance with a game-winning blast in Game 5 to send the Phillies to the World Series.

2. Judge hits No. 62

Aaron Judge became the single-season AL home run king after breaking Roger Maris' record that had stood since 1961. The Yankees outfielder's total of 62 is also the seventh-highest mark in MLB history.

1. Mariners end playoff drought with walk-off HR

With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, pinch hitter Cal Raleigh snapped the longest playoff drought in North American pro sports at 21 years thanks to a walk-off blast on a full count. This is the kind of stuff Hollywood writers can only dream of.
