The Boston Red Sox remain interested in signing outfielder Adam Duvall, sources told MassLive's Chris Cotillo.
Boston reportedly believes the former All-Star can man center field. He's made 68 starts in center over his nine-year run in the majors, including 43 with the Atlanta Braves last season.
Duvall could end up reaching a deal with the Red Sox or another club by the end of this week, according to Cotillo.
The 34-year-old struggled during the 2022 campaign, slashing .213/.276/.401 with 12 homers and 36 RBIs over 86 games. However, he went deep a career-high 38 times with 113 RBIs and won a Gold Glove in 2021.
The Red Sox are currently projected to start Jarren Duran in center.
