Baseball has a new 30-60 club, and it counts just one member.

Atlanta Braves superstar Ronald Acuña Jr. hit his 30th homer of the campaign thanks to a long grand slam in the second inning Thursday against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Having already reached 60 stolen bases Monday, the four-time All-Star became the first player in MLB history to record a 30-homer, 60-steal campaign and the third to post a 30-50 season, joining Barry Bonds and Eric Davis.

Player Year Team HR SB
Acuña 2023 Braves 30 62
Bonds 1990 Pirates 33 52
Davis 1987 Reds 37 50

Prior to Acuña's historic feat, the most homers with 60-plus steals in a single season was by Rickey Henderson when he hit 28 long balls in 1986 while playing for the New York Yankees and in 1990 with the Oakland Athletics.

The 25-year-old outfielder is one of the favorites to win NL MVP on a Braves club pacing the majors with 88 wins heading into September.

Acuña's memorable day started by getting married in Los Angeles, according to Jon Morosi of MLB Network.
