2023 Gold Glove finalists: Blue Jays, Rangers headline list; Arenado's streak over
The Toronto Blue Jays and Texas Rangers led the way when Rawlings and MLB announced the 2023 Gold Glove finalists on Wednesday.
The Blue Jays and Rangers have five finalists each in the American League, while the Philadelphia Phillies and Los Angeles Dodgers top the National League with four nominations.
The biggest surprise was the omission of St. Louis Cardinals third baseman Nolan Arenado, who won a Gold Glove for 10 straight seasons to begin his career prior to 2023.
The winners will be revealed Sunday, Nov. 5, at 7:30 p.m. ET during ESPN's "Baseball Tonight" broadcast.
