Tempers flared Wednesday after Tiburones de La Guaira shortstop Maikel Garcia, who plays for the Kansas City Royals, shouted at the Cardenales de Lara's dugout while rounding the bases following a go-ahead homer in the eighth inning:
Puig was part of several fights during his time in the majors, including a memorable brawl between the Cincinnati Reds and Pittsburgh Pirates in July 2019 that resulted in the former All-Star receiving an eight-game suspension.
