Texas Rangers manager Bruce Bochy announced Friday that outfield prospect Wyatt Langford made the club, according to Kennedi Landry of MLB.com.
The No. 4 pick from the 2023 MLB Draft leads Texas with six homers, 19 RBIs, and a 1.242 OPS over 17 games this spring.
Langford is the sixth-best prospect in baseball, according to MLB Pipeline.
The 22-year-old slashed .360/.480/.677 with 10 round-trippers, 30 RBIs, and 12 stolen bases across 44 games over four minor-league levels last season after leading the Florida Gators to the finals of the NCAA College World Series.
