Rangers' Seager has shin contusion after HBP

Texas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager is dealing with a shin contusion after being hit by a pitch in the seventh inning during Wednesday's game against the Seattle Mariners.
Seager eventually left the contest after initially taking first base for the rest of the inning:

Rangers manager Bruce Bochy said postgame that Seager's shin "swelled up pretty good" and that the team will wait to see how he's doing Thursday, according to Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News.
The reigning World Series MVP has just one homer with a .661 OPS over 22 games this season.
