D-Backs place Moreno on IL with adductor strain
The Arizona Diamondbacks placed catcher Gabriel Moreno on the injured list with a strained left adductor, the team announced Tuesday.
Moreno exited Monday's game against the Cleveland Guardians after suffering the injury while running to first base on an infield single in the second inning. He limped off the field with a trainer after falling to the ground following the play.

Moreno, who's the reigning NL Gold Glove winner among backstops, has gone deep four times with 41 RBIs and a .729 OPS over 86 games this season.
The Diamondbacks recalled catcher Adrian Del Castillo from Triple-A Reno in a corresponding roster move. The 24-year-old is the 16th-ranked prospect in the organization, per Baseball America.
Arizona also activated pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez, who's set to make his season debut on Tuesday against the Guardians.
