Royals' Pasquantino: 'I don't feel bad' for White Sox amid historic skid

Kansas City Royals first baseman Vinnie Pasquantino doesn't have much sympathy for the Chicago White Sox during the division rival's historic 21-game losing streak.

"It's our job to beat every team. So, as bluntly as I can, like no, I don't feel bad for them," Pasquantino told the "The Chris Rose Rotation" podcast.

He added: "I know quite a few of the guys over there from playing with them. It's a really good group of guys that they have. You obviously never want to see anybody lose that many in a row. But, at the end of the day, it's our job to beat them."

The Royals currently occupy the American League's last wild-card spot after going 12-1 against the White Sox this season - and 51-50 against the rest of MLB.

Meanwhile, the White Sox could set a new AL record for longest losing skid if they fall to the Oakland Athletics on Tuesday. Chicago is also on pace to lose 124 games, which would be a new Modern Era low.
