The Baltimore Orioles optioned left-hander Trevor Rogers to Triple-A Norfolk, the team announced Thursday.

The 26-year-old made four starts for the Orioles. They acquired him from the Miami Marlins for Connor Norby and Kyle Stowers before the trade deadline.

Rogers posted a 7.11 ERA with 10 walks and a 5.7 K/9 in 19 innings. Baltimore lost three of his four starts.

Baltimore's rotation is now expected to consist of Corbin Burnes, Cade Povich, Albert Suárez, Dean Kremer, and Cole Irvin.

The Orioles have Zach Eflin, Grayson Rodriguez, Kyle Bradish, John Means, and Tyler Wells on the injured list.

Baltimore activated infielder Emmanuel Rivera, selected the contract of right-hander Matt Bowman, and recalled left-hander Nick Vespi in corresponding moves.

The Orioles also optioned right-hander Colin Selby and infielder Livan Soto while designating left-hander Bruce Zimmermann for assignment.
