The Baltimore Orioles and outfielder Tyler O'Neill agreed to a three-year, $49.5-million contract with an opt-out clause after the 2025 season, according to Jon Heyman of MLB Network.
The reported addition of O'Neill replaces the potential loss of slugging outfielder Anthony Santander, who's also testing free agency after a 44-homer campaign.
O'Neill went deep 31 times with 61 RBIs and an .847 OPS in just 113 games for the Boston Red Sox in 2024.
However, the 29-year-old has logged only a combined 281 contests over the past three years because of multiple injuries.
