The Baltimore Orioles are bringing in reliever Andrew Kittredge on a one-year, contract, the club announced Monday.
Kittredge will make $10 million in 2025, a source told Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic. The pact reportedly includes a club option worth $9 million for 2026.
The 34-year-old authored a 2.80 ERA with 1.13 WHIP and 67 strikeouts over 70 2/3 innings last season for the St. Louis Cardinals.
Kittredge also finished in the 100th percentile for chase percentage, according to Baseball Savant.
The right-hander's best campaign came as a member of the Tampa Bay Rays in 2021. He finished the year with a 1.88 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, and 9.7 K/9 across 57 appearances en route to an All-Star appearance.
