The Seattle Mariners signed veteran reliever Neftalí Feliz to a minor-league contract with an invitation to spring training, the club announced Thursday.

Feliz hasn't pitched in a major-league game since making five appearances for the Philadelphia Phillies and Los Angeles Dodgers in 2021.

The 36-year-old had success in Mexico last season and also pitched in the Dominican Winter League.

Feliz is no stranger to life in the AL West, enjoying a productive seven-year stint with the Texas Rangers. The right-hander won AL Rookie of the Year and earned his only All-Star nod in 2010.

Feliz owns a 3.55 ERA with 107 saves and 366 strikeouts across 362 career appearances.
